Hannover Re in Hannover, Germany, is hiring an Actuarial Engineer Data Modelling and Reporting on a permanent basis. You will join the Finance Global Services, Operations & Reporting team at our headquarters to design, implement, and operate data models for planning and reporting.

The role requires strong C# / .NET skills, expert SQL handling, and familiarity with TM1 / IBM Planning Analytics. Excellent English and German communication are essential for cross‑functional collaboration.

Qualifikationen

• Degree or equivalent qualification in mathematics or related field.
• Initial experience in insurance or actuarial/financial topics preferred.
• Strong C# / .NET programming and SQL data handling required.
• Fluent business English and German communication skills.

• Onboard into TM1 / IBM Planning Analytics environment and related actuarial processes.
• Enhance planning and reporting data models and data flows with QA and monitoring.
• Operate, optimize TM1 models, cubes, dimensions, TurboIntegrator processes, and rules.
• Design and develop APIs, services, and data processing solutions using C# / .NET.
• Automate data processing and reporting workflows.
• Collaborate with Finance and Controlling to deliver insights.

You can look forward to

• Comprehensive onboarding into our TM1 / IBM Planning Analytics environment as well as the underlying actuarial and financial business processes
• Enhance our planning and reporting data models and the associated data flows, including quality assurance and monitoring
• Operate, optimise and enhance TM1 models, cubes, dimensions, TurboIntegrator processes, and rules
• Design and development of APIs, services, and data processing solutions based on C# / .NET
• Automate data processing and reporting workflow
• Collaborate closely with business functions such as Finance and Controlling

You come equipped with

• Degree in Mathematics, Business Mathematics, or a comparable qualification
• Initial experience in the insurance industry or an interest in actuarial and financial topics
• Strong proficiency in C# / .NET
• Solid knowledge of SQL and experience working with complex data structures
• An enthusiasm for analysing complex calculation and data flows
• Business fluent English and German
• A collaborative mindset, a structured way of working and strong communication skills
