Redspher is seeking a Branch Manager - Operations based at Nürnberg-Germany to lead daily transportation operations, mentor and grow a high-performing dispatch team, and efficiently manage time-critical solutions for a diverse customer base.

The role combines people leadership, operational excellence, cost management, and customer service, with a strong focus on profitability and compliance, reporting directly to the Country Manager - Germany.

We are looking for a dedicated and performance-focused Branch Manager - Operations, based at Nürnberg-Germany to lead daily operational activities, mentor and grow a high-performing team, and efficiently manage time‑critical transportation solutions for a diverse customer base. The role combines people leadership, operational excellence, customer service, cost management, and business performance, with a strong focus on delivering high‑quality transportation solutions in line with company policies, procedures, regulatory requirements, and profitability objectives. The position will report directly to Country Manager -Germany.

Job Responsibilities

• Lead, coach, and develop the operational/dispatch team.
• Plan staffing and coordinate daily operations.

• Implement operational plans, procedures, and continuous improvements.
• Customer & Business Management
• Deliver customer-focused transportation solutions while balancing service quality and profitability.
• Partner with Sales to achieve revenue and margin objectives.
• Identify opportunities to improve operational and business performance.
• Supplier & Partner Management
• Develop and maintain a strong network of transport suppliers and partners.
• Evaluate partner performance and ensure reliable, cost-effective solutions.
• Performance & Data Analysis
• Monitor, analyze, and report branch operational KPIs.
• Use data to drive decisions, improve performance, and achieve business objectives.

Profile Requirements

• Experience in operational management, ideally within transport or logistics.
• Strong leadership and people-management skills. (Staff planning)
• Excellent organizational and planning abilities.
• Customer-and profitability-oriented mindset.(Strong awareness of revenue, margins, costs, and overall business performance.)
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to perform effectively in a fast‑paced, high‑pressure environment.
• Strong communication, relationship‑building, and negotiation skills.
• Cost-conscious and results‑oriented approach.
• Proactive, rigorous, stress resilience and service-minded personality.
• Strong MS Office and Google Suite skills.
• Knowledge of project‑management and data-analysis tools.
• Fluent written and spoken German and English.
• Education: Training as a freight forwarding agent, or an equivalent qualification in Logistics, Transport, Business, or a related field.
