Big Mamma sucht am Edmondo in Hamburg einen Bar Manager, der das Barteam führt, Verantwortung für den Gäste- und Service-Standard übernimmt und das Bar-Erlebnis gestaltet. Als Barleiter tragen Sie die Verantwortung für Personalführung, Qualität, Kostenkontrolle und operative Abläufe.

Sie arbeiten eng mit dem Restaurant-Management zusammen, entwickeln Konzepte, Standards und eine starke Bar-Kultur. Deutsch ist von Vorteil, fließendes Englisch wird erwartet, und die Position ist Vollzeit mit zwei

Qualifikationen

• Frühere Tätigkeit als Bar Manager oder Head Bartender oder in einer Führungsposition.
• Fundierte Kenntnisse von Cocktails, Spirituosen und Bar-Operationen.
• Nachweisliche Fähigkeit, ein Team zu führen, zu motivieren und weiterzuentwickeln.
• Ausgeprägte organisatorische Fähigkeiten und Problemlösungskompetenz.
• Wirtschaftliches Verständnis, Bestands- und Kostenkontrolle.

• Das Bar-Team führen und täglich motivieren.
• Sicherstellen eines reibungslosen Barbetriebs in jeder Servicephase.
• Hohe Standards für Cocktails, Getränke und Gästeerlebnis festlegen und aufrechterhalten.
• Dienstpläne, Schicht– und Tagesabläufe organisieren.
• Bar-Mitarbeiter/innen schulen und weiterentwickeln.
• Bestand, Bestellungen und Inventar verwalten; Kosten kontrollieren.

As our Bar Manager, you'll be responsible for the overall performance of the bar - from team leadership and service standards to stock management, product quality and guest experience.

You have the autonomy to lead your team, develop your people and help shape the identity of the bar.

Your role & responsibilities

You take ownership of the bar and lead the team to deliver an exceptional experience:

• Lead, coach and motivate the bar team on a daily basis

• Ensure smooth and efficient bar operations throughout every service

• Set and maintain high standards for cocktails, drinks and guest experience

• Organize schedules, shifts and daily bar operations

• Train and develop Bartenders, Barbacks and junior team members

• Manage stock, orders and inventory while controlling costs and minimizing waste

• Monitor product quality, consistency and presentation

• Ensure compliance with hygiene, safety and operational standards

• Work closely with the Restaurant Manager and wider management team

• Contribute to the development of the bar concept, processes and team culture

What we're looking for

• Previous experience as Bar Manager, Head Bartender or in a similar leadership position

• Strong knowledge of cocktails, spirits, beverages and bar operations

• Proven ability to lead, motivate and develop a team

• Strong organizational and problem-solving skills

• Commercial awareness and experience with stock and cost control

• Passion for hospitality and creating memorable guest experiences

• Ability to stay calm and make confident decisions in a fast-paced environment

• Excellent communication skills

• Fluent English is required; German is a strong advantage
