Job summary

Teoresi Group is seeking an Automotive E/E Engineer to analyze and troubleshoot electrical/electronic vehicle systems. You will diagnose faults, perform ECU flash updates, and validate systems on test benches and development vehicles.

Requirements include a degree in a relevant engineering field and experience with CAN/LIN, Automotive Ethernet, and UDS. Fluent English and German are required; Wolfsburg on-site option available.

Qualifications

• Degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics, Automotive Engineering, Mechatronics or similar.
• Experience with automotive E/E systems, diagnostics, integration, testing/validation.
• Knowledge of CAN, LIN, Automotive Ethernet and UDS protocol.
• Experience with E/E test benches or HiL environments.
• Understanding vehicle networks and ECU architectures.
• Knowledge of diagnostic and troubleshooting processes.
• Experience in functional testing and fault analysis.

Responsibilities

• Analyze and troubleshoot technical anomalies in vehicle electrical/electronic systems.
• Perform vehicle diagnostics, fault analysis, and root cause investigations.
• Investigate communication issues within networks, gateways, and ECUs.
• Perform software updates, ECU flashing, and configuration activities.
• Review, document, and track issues using ticket systems.
• Set up and execute E/E system tests on benches and development vehicles.
• Conduct functional testing and validation of vehicle electronics.
• Analyze results, identify deviations, and prepare test reports.
• Support debugging during vehicle integration and validation.
• Collaborate with development, integration, and testing teams to resolve issues.

Your Tasks:

• Analyze and troubleshoot technical anomalies related to vehicle electrical and electronic systems.
• Perform vehicle diagnostics, fault analysis, and root cause investigations.

• Perform vehicle software updates, ECU flashing, and configuration activities.

• Collaborate with development, integration, and testing teams to resolve technical issues.

Your Profile:

• Degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics, Automotive Engineering, Mechatronics, or a comparable technical qualification.
• Experience in automotive E/E systems, vehicle diagnostics, system integration, or testing and validation.
• Knowledge of CAN, LIN, Automotive Ethernet, and UDS diagnostic protocol
• Experience with E/E test benches orHardware-in-the-Loop (HiL)
• Understanding of vehicle communication networks and ECU architectures.
• Knowledge of automotive diagnostic and troubleshooting processes.
• Experience in functional testing, fault analysis, and technical issue management.
• Familiarity with vehicle software updates and configuration processes.
• Analytical mindset and strong problem-solving skills.
• Prototype driving license
• Fluent in English and German
