Gleiss Lutz is seeking associates (Rechtsanwälte) to join the Tax practice at our Stuttgart office. The role focuses on reorganisations, international tax, succession planning, tax compliance including related criminal law aspects, and transaction advice such as M&A. Excellent candidates will have state examinations with top grades, tax-law experience, and business-fluent English.

Additional qualifications like an LL.M. or a doctorate are welcome.

We are seeking associates (Rechtsanwälte) (m/f/d) to join our Tax practice at our Stuttgart office.

Our team ranks among Germany’s most highly regarded tax practices, and advises and represents investors, banks, companies, public authorities and associations in Germany and abroad across the full spectrum of tax law. We are typically called in when things get particularly difficult and interesting.

Your role

You’ll focus on the following:

• Reorganisations and restructurings


• International tax law


• Succession planning


• Tax compliance, including the related criminal law aspects


• Transaction advice, M&A

Your profile

• State examinations with grades of fully satisfactory (vollbefriedigend) or better


• Ideally, relevant experience in tax law


• Business-fluent English, preferably acquired abroad
