Job summary

Stars and Stripes Europe in Kaiserslautern, Germany seeks a media manager to lead and direct the activities of its news organization. You will oversee editorial and operational functions to deliver timely reporting for a diverse audience.

The role requires at least one year of relevant experience. Highly preferred candidates will have external partnership and contract negotiation experience, leadership of multi-stakeholder projects, and prior work in a DoD or military community setting.

Qualifications

• One year of work experience managing or directing the activities of a media or newspaper organization.
• Experience building external partnerships and negotiating commercial contracts, sponsorship agreements, or MOAs (Highly Preferred).
• Experience leading multi-stakeholder projects from concept to completion, and presenting business proposals.
• Experience conducting business operations within a Department of Defense, NAF, or military community environment (Highly Preferred).

• Possess experience conducting business operations within a Department of Defense, NAF, or military community environment.
