Job summary

Marks Sattin is seeking an Assistant Accountant in Germany to manage revenue calculations, billing and payments with strong Excel skills. You will support month-end processes, reconcile revenue and assist with journals while handling expense claims and customer inquiries.

Fluency in German (B2) and English is required, with 1–2 years in finance within Germany. This role involves collaboration with the finance team and handling high-volume transactions.

Qualifications

• 1–2 years' experience in a finance, accounting, or bookkeeping role within Germany.
• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills and confidence working with large datasets.
• Good understanding of expense processing and basic accounting principles.
• Awareness of German tax requirements relating to invoices and expenses.
• Strong communication and customer service skills.
• Fluent German (B2 minimum) and English, both written and spoken.
