This battery storage company with offices in Berlin is looking to hire a Battery Asset Manager to optimise their portfolio of BESS assets.

This role sits in a company with the feel of a start-up, but the maturity and expertise of a well-seasoned team of whole career energy specialists, an innovative culture with a stable team that works well together.

This role will be an impactful one, helping push the renewable energy industry forward with stable energy availability from renewable generation.

Key aspects of this role:

• Portfolio Oversight: Manage a global portfolio of BESS assets, ensuring peak performance, reliability, and profitability.
• Performance Monitoring: Track and evaluate the technical and financial performance of each BESS unit, identifying opportunities for optimization and necessary maintenance.
• Risk Mitigation: Assess and address potential risks related to the operation and upkeep of BESS units.
• Operational Management: Plan and oversee routine maintenance, ensuring compliance with warranty and insurance requirements to maximize system longevity and reliability.
• Stakeholder Engagement: Serve as the primary liaison for stakeholders, including O&M providers, optimizers, and regulatory authorities.
• Service Provider Oversight: Monitor and manage service providers to ensure they meet performance expectations and maintain agreed-upon availability levels.

Berlin based with flexible and remote working available. You'll need to be fluent in English with a good level of German.
