Job summary

NAXCON GmbH in Bremen, Germany seeks an Assembly/Repair Technician (m/f/d) for prototyping and integration environments. The role focuses on optical/mechanical inspections, assembly, testing, and documentation, with travel within Germany on occasion.

Strong attention to detail and team collaboration are essential. The candidate should have a state-certified technician/master craftsman or equivalent electrical/electronics apprenticeship, plus familiarity with SAP and MS Office.

Qualifications

• State-certified technician or master craftsman.
• Alternate: completed electrical/electronics apprenticeship with ongoing education and many years in assembly/repair of electronic assemblies.
• Good command of German and English (spoken and written).
• Proficiency in MS Office; basic SAP knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Inspect and document optical/mechanical components and assemblies.
• Mechanically and electrically align assemblies.
• Assemble electrical test equipment.
• Use test and measurement equipment appropriate to the trade.
• Prepare production, test, and inspection reports.
• Self-manage tasks with team-leader coordination.
• Assemble mechanical and electrical devices per drawings and BOMs.
• Troubleshoot simple electronic assemblies using schematics; document in SAP.
• Commission and test at device/system level; conduct interface tests.
• Document results and ensure timely production order completion.

Position: Assembly/Repair Technician (m/f/d)- Prototyping/Integration Environment

Location: Bremen, Germany

Type: Full-time

Tasks:

• Inspection and documentation of optical mechanicalcomponents/assemblies
• Mechanical and electrical alignment of assemblies
  
• Assembly of electrical test equipment
• Use of typical test and measurement equipment appropriate to the trade (e.g., electronics technician)
• Preparation of production, test, and inspection reports
• Partial self-management of tasks (regarding sequence, deadlines, priorities, etc.) in coordination with the team leader
• Assembly of mechanical and electrical assemblies and devices according to assembly instructions, drawings, and bills of materials
• Troubleshooting of simple electronic assemblies/devices using circuit diagrams/signal diagrams, for both new and used equipment, as well as their repair and documentation in SAP
• Commissioning and testing at the device and system levels, as well as conducting interface tests according to test specifications
• Recording your own work to document results
• Timely completion and reporting of production orders

Requirements:

• State-certified technician or master craftsman
• Alternatively, a completed apprenticeship in the field of electrical/electronics with comparable continuing education, as well as many years of professional experience in the assembly and repair of electronic assemblies
• Experience working with technical system documentation and electrical tools
• Good command of German andEnglish (spoken and written)
• Proficiency in MS Office
• Basic knowledge of SAP
• A high degree of attention to detail, precision, and quality awareness
• A goal-oriented, independent, and self-reliant work style, as well as an open-minded attitude and the ability to work well in a team
• Willingness to travel for work, primarily within Germany
• Proficiency in the use of tools and testing equipment (electrical, mechanical, optical)
