Brainlab in Munich seeks an Area Product Owner for the RT Elements portfolio to shape the future of leading radiotherapy applications. You will balance portfolio requirements, assess feasibility, support business plans, and drive prioritisation with product management, business development, and R&D engineers.

You will work with customers and academic partners in an international setting, shaping the development pipeline and ensuring regulatory compliance while aligning with overall business

Qualifikationen

• 5+ years experience within the clinical radiation therapy field.
• Strong ability to understand R&D, product management and clinical requirements.
• Ability to derive feasibility assessments with business development and the RT Elements product owner.

As Area Product Owner Business Development for the Brainlab RT Elements portfolio, you will shape the future of the world's leading medical radiosurgery applications as part of an international multidisciplinary team. Complementing the team around the RT Elements product owner, you will drive our future development pipeline by defining and analysing potential deliverables not yet on the roadmap. In this role, you will draw on strong research and analytical skills to balance competing portfolio requirements, assess technical feasibility, support business plans, and drive prioritisation decisions together withproductmanagement,businessdevelopment, R&D engineers, customers, and academic collaborators.

Your tasks include:

• Supervise collaborations:Conductfeasibility projects with customers, universitiesandinternal collaborators.
• R&Droadmap:Clarifypriorities, ensuring the backlog reflects the most valuabledeliverablesfor thefutureproduct in alignment with the overall business strategy,in accordance withcustomerdemands, technicalrequirements and regulatory compliance.
• Stakeholdermanagement: Interact with theRT ElementsR&D team and other R&D teams providing solutions for theRTportfolio, product management,clinical research partners,and industrial cooperation partners facilitating communication and alignment.

Requirements:

• 5+ years experience within theclinicalradiation therapy field
• Strongability tounderstand R&D, product management and clinical requirements
• Ability to derivefeasibility assessments in close collaboration withbusiness development andtheteam around theRT Elementsproductowner
• A deeply analytical mindset and creativity to develop extraordinary solutions
• Exceptional communicationanddocumentation skills
• Willingness to travel
• Ability to understand dependencies of complex medical devices
• Experience with agile development concepts like SCRUM / LeSS is a plus
• Experience in development or product management of medical devices including software is a plus
• Clinical knowledge inthe areaofradiosurgeryis a plus
• Clinical knowledge ofradiation therapytreatment planning systems is a plus
• Fluent in written and spoken English.German is a plus.
