Industrial business administration apprentices are true all-rounders with organisational skills, a head for figures and good communication skills. During your apprenticeship, you'll get to know our diverse business areas, ranging from shipbuilding and exports through to accounts, purchasing and production, right through to marketing and human resources. How to get involved

• Shipbuilding/Exports: Costing, quotation preparation, order processing and customer service, as well as insights into the international shipping market.
• Building Construction: Working with building plans and gaining an insight into on-site processes.
• Accounting: Fundamentals of accounting, bookkeeping, cost centres, and accounts receivable and accounts payable.
• Production: Insights into manufacturing, laboratory work and quality assurance, as well as support with work preparation and production planning.
• Purchasing: Involvement in operational and strategic purchasing, as well as the procurement of raw materials, consumables and supplies.
• Marketing: Insights into market research, strategic planning and the creative implementation of marketing initiatives.
• Human Resources: Support with application management, recruitment and the administration and maintenance of staff records.
