Job summary

IVAM Microtechnology Network sucht Auszubildende zum Mikrotechnologen (m/w/d) in Erfurt. Die Ausbildung beginnt am 1. August 2027 im dualen System und bietet Einblicke in die Produktion, Qualitätskontrollen und Wartung von Halbleiterprozessen.

Es erwarten Sie ein erfahrenes Team, gute Aussichten auf Übernahme nach der Ausbildung, und eine Vergütung zwischen 1.137 und 1.309 € brutto/Monat. Die Ausbildung umfasst 3 Jahre und 30 Urlaubstage jährlich.

Qualifications

• Mindestens ein guter Realschulabschluss, ideal chemische/physikalische Ausrichtung.
• Gute Deutschkenntnisse (B2) und grundlegendes Englisch (A2).
• Technisches Interesse und logisches Denkvermögen.
• Bereitschaft zu Schichtarbeit ab 18 Jahren.
• Sorgfalt, Zuverlässigkeit, Geduld, Teamfähigkeit.

Responsibilities

• Herstellung und Prüfung von Halbleiterprodukten in der Fertigung.
• Durchführung von Qualitätsprüfungen an Wafern.
• Einrichten, Inspizieren und vorbeugende Wartung von Produktionsanlagen.
• Dokumentation der Arbeit gemäß QM-Anforderungen.
• Unterstützung von Fertigungs- und Testprozessen in der Wafer-Herstellung.

Every day, you use devices and applications that contain numerous microchips, including those manufactured by X-FAB, whether in your smartphone, smartwatch, notebook, the automotive industry, medical technology, and many other areas. Microchips are becoming smaller and smaller while at the same time becoming increasingly powerful.

Producing these microchips is the job of Microtechnologists (m/f/d). Using a variety of machines and production equipment, the surfaces of so-called wafers (silicon discs) are processed and coated in a cleanroom environment, where contamination from dirt and dust is strictly controlled.
