Heinemann Asia Pacific Pte Ltd is seeking motivated talents to join an Apprenticeship in Wholesale and Foreign Trade at our Hamburg headquarters. You will explore Purchasing, Sales, and other departments while taking on responsibilities and working on exciting projects.

You will learn how global trade processes work from procurement to worldwide distribution, with international assignments and ongoing development with our Early Careers Team.

Qualifikationen

• Learn about optimal assortment management for our Heinemann Duty Free shops.
• Understand how global trade processes work from procurement and warehousing to worldwide distribution.
• Participate in supplier and customer meetings and help ensure product ranges reach shops worldwide.
• Participate in training and development programs with other young professionals.
• Receive regular feedback on professional and personal development.
• Be supported by the Early Careers Team and a mentor in various departments.
• Have the opportunity to gain international experience through educational trips and four-week international assignments.

Your new job includes

During your apprenticeship, you will gain exciting insights into various areas of our company and get to know the international trading business from different perspectives. In particular, you will:

• Get to know different business areas, including Purchasing, Sales, and other departments
• Take on your own responsibilities and work on exciting projects
• Learn about the importance of optimal assortment management for our Heinemann Duty Free shops
• Understand how global trade processes work, from procurement and warehousing to worldwide distribution
• Participate in supplier and customer meetings and help ensure that our product ranges reach our shops around the world
• Take part in training and development programs together with other young professionals
• Receive regular feedback on your professional and personal development.
• Be supported throughout your apprenticeship by our Early Careers Team and a dedicated mentor within the various departments
• Have the opportunity to gain international experience through educational trips, active collaboration with international business partners during business travel, and a four-week international assignment (subject to availability)
• Receive an attractive salary (€1,235 in the first year, €1,328 in the second year, and €1,469 in the third year), plus holiday and Christmas bonuses as well as 30 days of annual leave

What you should bring along

At least a good intermediate school-leaving certificate (Mittlerer Schulabschluss) or equivalent qualification

Good German and English language skills, as well as strong communication abilities

A passion for retail and curiosity about working with premium and exclusive brands

Good knowledge of Microsoft Office applications
