Qualifications

Group/Division

The Semiconductor Products and Customers (Semi PC) business unit designs, builds and sells KLA's product portfolio to help chip manufacturers meet high-quality standards for technologies like AI, data centers, automotive and electronic devices. Our inspection, metrology, and analytics systems detect and monitor defects across logic and memory chips, specialty semiconductors, wafers, reticles, advanced packaging, process equipment and materials. We also develop technologies for specialty processes, IC substrates, and PCB manufacturing, including etch and deposition, component inspection, and imaging and analytics. The RAPID division leads the industry in reticle inspection solutions, helping ensure high lithography yields and cost-effective semiconductor manufacturing. Its systems support both mask shops and fabs by detecting defects early in the process, enabling faster, more reliable production.

What You'll Do
  • Understand customer problem and derive solutions based on KLA product portfolio and definition of roadmap.
  • Define and setup experiments with customers and evaluate data to identify and solve customer problems.
  • Answer expert level questions and requests from users of our semiconductor metrology equipment
  • Proactively ensure fast time-to-solution for customer questions and requests
  • Work with Customers and Field Teams from Asia, Europe, and America to understand new feature requests and translate them into clear requirements for our internal development team.
  • Travel to Asia, Europe, and America to train Customers and Field Application Engineers in using our product
  • Perform end-product acceptance tests and software quality tests prior to shipment of a new product or new software
Minimum Qualifications
  • Master's degree in Science, Technology, Engineering and Math related subject
  • Business fluent in English. German of advantage
  • Excellent verbal & written communication and presentation skills
  • Structured and systematic problem solver that can solve issues in a team environment
  • Perseverance, drive and conscientiousness to solve important problems
  • Demonstrated competence in using MATLAB, Python, or other statistical software to perform statistical analyses, such as ANOVA
  • Strong mathematical knowledge in statistics
  • Open-minded team player
  • Domestic and international travel, including to the United States, will be required as part of this role up to 60% to assist customers onsite
  • Prior experience in semiconductor industry is a plus but not necessary
