Mimacom is seeking an AI Solutions Engineer to shape AI-powered software development across industries. You will build digital solutions, work hands-on in customer projects, and own product development using modern AI tools to deliver business value.

Requirements include 4+ years of software engineering in modern tech stacks (Spring Boot, Node.js, Angular, React), deep understanding of microservices and cloud platforms, plus fluent German (C1) and English (B2).

• End-to-End Product & Software Engineering: From problem definition to architecture, solution design, implementation, and delivery.
• AI-augmented Engineering: Design Human‑AI workflows, use agentic coding tools, create high‑quality prompts, perform context engineering, and ensure quality assurance.
• Product Thinking & Business Value Focus: Understand customers’ domain, challenge requirements, prioritize with stakeholders, and deliver real value.
• Customer Consulting & Sparring: Work closely with customer teams, communicate clearly, facilitate technical discussions, and become a trusted sparring partner for product owners, architects, and SMEs.

What You’ll Do

As an AI Engineer, you build digital solutions faster, more effectively, and closer to business value than ever before. You work hands‑on in our customer projects, use modern AI tools end-to-end, and take ownership for product development. Here’s what that looks like:

• End-to-End Product & Software Engineering: From problem definition to architecture, solution design, implementation, and delivery. You work end‑to‑end and actively use AI to increase speed, quality, and impact.


• AI‑augmented Engineering: You design Human‑AI workflows, use agentic coding tools, create high‑quality prompts, perform context engineering, and take responsibility for quality assurance (code reviews, testing, hallucination control).


• Product Thinking & Business Value Focus: You understand our customers’ domain, challenge requirements, prioritize work together with stakeholders, and make decisions that generate real value.


• Customer Consulting & Sparring: You work closely with customer teams, communicate clearly, facilitate technical and domain‑specific discussions, and become a trusted sparring partner for product owners, architects, and subject‑matter experts.

What You’ll Bring

You’re a team player with strong technical depth, curiosity, and excellent communication skills? You enjoy trying new things, develop quickly, and have a strong product and value mindset? Great! You also bring the following:

• At least 4 years of software engineering experience in modern tech stacks (preferably: Spring Boot, Node.js, Angular, React).


• Solid understanding of software architecture (microservices, distributed systems, system design).


• Experience with cloud platforms (Azure, AWS, GCP) and confident working with modern DevOps and CI/CD workflows.


• AI & workflow skills: Experience with generative AI tools (coding assistants, LLM workflows, etc.) and expertise in prompting, context engineering, and human‑AI interaction.


• Ability to evaluate, correct, and assure the quality of AI‑generated output.


• Very good German skills (min. C1) and good English skills (min. B2).

Bonus: Experience with technologies from our strategic partners such as Databricks, Kafka, Elasticsearch, or Liferay.
