Job summary

Trelleborg Sealing Solutions in Stuttgart, Germany, is seeking an AI Engineer (m/w/d) to design, develop, and deploy AI/ML solutions across global projects. You will contribute to our AI & Data Platform and work with cross-functional teams.

The ideal candidate has advanced degree and several years of hands-on AI/ML experience, including Generative AI, LLMs, Python, and ML frameworks. Familiarity with MLOps and responsible AI is a plus.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Data Science, AI, Mathematics, Engineering, Physics, or related field.
• Several years of hands-on experience in AI, ML, Software Engineering, or Data Engineering.
• Proven experience deploying AI/ML solutions in production environments.
• Exposure to Generative AI, Large Language Models (LLMs), or related technologies is highly desirable.
• Strong programming skills in Python and experience with ML frameworks such as PyTorch, TensorFlow, or scikit-learn.
• Knowledge of Generative AI technologies and frameworks such as Azure OpenAI, LangChain, Hugging Face, or vector databases.
• Understanding of cloud-based data and AI platforms.
• Experience with MLOps/LLMOps practices and responsible AI principles.
• Fluency in English.

• Experience working across different business domains and stakeholder groups is an advantage
• Strong programming skills in Python and experience with modern ML frameworks such as PyTorch, TensorFlow, or scikit-learn
• Knowledge of Generative AI technologies and frameworks such as Azure OpenAI, LangChain, Hugging Face, or vector databases
• Understanding of cloud-based data and AI platforms
• Experience with MLOps/LLMOps practices and responsible AI principles
