Job summary

SAP Fioneer GmbH is expanding its AI capabilities to enhance banking software with secure, scalable AI features. You will contribute across the full development lifecycle, from ideation to production, partnering with engineers and product teams in a remote-first, globally distributed setting.

The role emphasizes cloud-native approaches, modern AI architectures, and hands-on delivery with mentorship. Occasional travel is expected as projects demand.

Qualifications

• Degree in (Business) Informatics, (Business) Mathematics, Computer Science, Physics, Engineering
• Understanding of different approaches to integrate LLMs into enterprise solutions
• Strong programming skills (e.g. Python, Java, JavaScript, C++, R)
• First cloud-native development experience with containerization/orchestration (Docker, Kubernetes)
• Skilled at translating business requirements into scalable AI architectures

Responsibilities

• Contribute to design, development, testing, and deployment of AI-powered features for banking products
• Participate in full AI lifecycle from prototyping to production-ready solutions
• Work with data and processes to develop AI applications that generate insights and automate tasks
• Collaborate with engineers, product managers, experts, and customer-facing teams
• Learn and apply secure, scalable AI development best practices
• Take ownership of development tasks with mentorship from senior engineers
