Your tasks and responsibilities

• Provide end‑to‑end support to projects with regard to cyber security.
• Lead the definition of security requirements and security concept for specific projects.
• Lead the design of secure architecture for aerospace solutions.
• Lead the security risk assessment and threat modelling processes.
• Act as security officer for certain aerospace projects and be the point of contact for all related security topics.
• Verification and validation of cyber‑security system/network design.
• Evaluate, develop and adapt baseline for secure system and network configuration and hardening aligned with security requirements.
• Support the bid team with the technical solution (security scope) and effort estimation.
• Coordinate with the different stakeholders and team members to ensure the delivery of the technical solution on‑quality, on‑time and on‑cost (oQoToC).

Desired skills and qualifications

• You are educated to a degree in aerospace engineering, electrical engineering, communications, computer science or similar, or have comparable experience.
• You have several years of experience in system security engineering and the definition of security concepts and processes for complex solutions for space and aviation systems.
• You have good knowledge of the different cyber‑security standards and frameworks (e.g. ISO 27000 family, NIST 2, CMMC, …) and are well‑versed in security products and secure communications protocols.
• You possess strong expertise with secure architecture principles and concepts (e.g. Zero Trust, Defense in Depth, Least Privilege…).
• You are knowledgeable of the risk assessment framework (e.g. EBIOS, NIST SP800‑37…).
• You have a solid understanding to define verification and validation procedures for secure architecture.
• Your excellent communication and writing skills in English set you apart; German would be a plus.
• You have proven your ability to work in a multi‑culture team as well as a strong ability to work in a structured and independent manner.
