Job summary

Emerald Group in Frankfurt is seeking a detail-oriented payments and receivables specialist to ensure accurate processing and recording of payments and receipts.

You will respond to queries, resolve discrepancies, and support balance sheet controls and reconciliations across the finance function.

The role requires fluent German and English communication, strong Excel skills, and the ability to collaborate with diverse stakeholders and support the annual audit.

Qualifications

• Experience in payments and receivables process.
• Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to communicate effectively in German and English.
• Experience with reconciliations and balance sheet controls.

• To be proficient and accurate in the processing and recording of payments and receipts

• Assist in the completion of specific key balance sheet controls and reconciliations
• Assist in the annual audit by providing support and workings as required and via process walkthroughs
• Ability to communicate effectively in German and English, both verbally and in writing
• Strong analytical skills and attention to detail
• Experience in, or knowledge of, the end-to-end payments and receivables process
• Confidence in working with a wide range of stakeholders
• Intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Excel is desirable
