Philip Morris International in Bogotá seeks a Warehousing Coordinator to design, plan, and oversee regional warehousing, distribution, transportation, and inventory management. You will optimize DC performance, lead cross-functional teams, and ensure service levels align with contracts.

The role emphasizes data-driven decisions, continuous improvement, and strong collaboration with Sales and Planning teams to support FMCG logistics excellence in a dynamic environment.

Formación

  • Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering, Logistics Engineering, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or related field.
  • Minimum 4 years of experience in logistics, distribution, transportation, warehousing, or Distribution Center operations.
  • At least 3 years of experience managing warehousing and distribution operations.
  • Proven experience managing logistics KPIs and leading continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Experience within the FMCG industry is required; experience in alcoholic beverages or beer industries is highly desirable.
  • Knowledge of Tornaguías regulations and processes is considered a strong advantage.

Responsabilidades

  • Lead warehousing and distribution operations across two Distribution Centers (DCs) covering approximately 20 departments/regions nationwide.
  • Ensure accurate inventory management, maintaining high levels of inventory accuracy, control, and availability.
  • Drive operational excellence across storage, transportation, distribution, and last-mile delivery activities.
  • Ensure compliance with commercial agreements and established service level expectations.
  • Manage delivery execution, tracking, and shipment traceability to ensure superior customer service.
  • Manage third-party logistics providers (3PLs) and transportation partners, ensuring contract compliance and achievement of agreed service levels.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with Sales, Allocation & Planning, Control Tower, Order Management, and Customer Collaboration teams.
  • Maintain effective relationships with B2B and B2C customers to support business objectives and customer satisfaction.
  • Monitor, analyze, and improve key logistics performance indicators related to inventory, productivity, transportation, and customer service.
  • Lead continuous improvement initiatives, process optimization projects, and logistics transformation programs.
  • Identify operational opportunities and implement corrective and preventive actions to improve efficiency and service levels.
  • Lead and influence operational teams managed through third-party logistics providers (3PLs).
  • Foster a results-oriented culture focused on accountability, operational excellence, and continuous improvement.
  • Monitor Distribution Center performance and support capability development across operational teams.
  • Ensure compliance with corporate policies, operational procedures, and applicable legal and regulatory requirements.
  • Maintain high standards of control and governance across warehousing, inventory management, and distribution operations.

The Warehousing Coordinator is responsible for designing, planning, coordinating, and overseeing all logistics operations within the assigned region, ensuring resource optimization, service level compliance, and the efficient execution of warehousing, distribution, transportation, and inventory management processes.

This role is accountable for ensuring the optimal performance of Distribution Centers through the definition, implementation, and continuous improvement of operational processes, maximizing efficiency and productivity. The position also oversees all activities related to the receipt, storage, movement, and inventory control of finished goods, materials, and trade marketing assets, contributing to operational excellence, business continuity, and the satisfaction of both internal and external customers.

Your Day To Day
Logistics Operations Management
  • Lead warehousing and distribution operations across two Distribution Centers (DCs) covering approximately 20 departments/regions nationwide.

Who We Are Looking For
