Auxis is seeking a Voice Engineer to own day-to-day engineering support of the voice and unified communications environment across sites in the US, Canada, Brazil, Peru, and Paraguay. You will stabilize the current CUCM platform, perform MACDs, and help migrate from legacy systems to cloud-based calling in coordination with the network team.

The ideal candidate has 3+ years of hands-on UC engineering, strong English communication (B2+), and experience with SIP trunking, QoS, and telecom

Formación

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent professional experience in IT or telecom.
• 3+ years hands-on voice/UC engineering with CUCM.
• Knowledge of SIP/RTP, QoS, gateways, and SIP trunking.
• Experience MACDs and multi-site voice troubleshooting.
• Experience with carriers on trunks, circuits, and porting.
• ITIL incident/change management familiarity.
• English communication skills at least B2+.

Responsabilidades

• Provide day-to-day operational support of Cisco CUCM, including call routing, voicemail, and UC services.
• Execute MACDs for users, devices, hunt groups, and call flows.
• Troubleshoot voice quality and connectivity across multiple sites; escalate as needed.
• Support decommission of legacy CUCM with migration planning inputs, cutover execution, and post-cutover validation.
• Coordinate with carriers on circuits, trunks, and number porting; resolve incidents.
• Maintain accurate voice environment documentation, including dial plans and inventories.
• Collaborate with the Network Engineer Lead on voice-impacting changes.
• Support Teams Phone/Direct Routing integrations when in scope.
• Participate in after-hours change windows for voice changes and migrations.
• Track and report status of voice tickets, projects, and milestones.
