Auxis is seeking a Systems Engineer Lead to direct day-to-day systems and cloud operations for a global managed services engagement. You will oversee a team handling servers, virtualization, storage, IAM, and databases across multiple sites in the Americas.

The role blends senior hands-on work with leadership, ensuring reliable and secure data center and cloud environments while collaborating with the Cloud/Infrastructure Architect on standards. You will mentor Sr./Jr.

Formación

• 5+ years in Systems Engineering, Cloud Infrastructure, with 2+ years in Lead or supervisory role.
• Experience managing enterprise server environments (Windows/Linux).
• Hands-on with VMware/Hyper-V and Azure/AWS.
• Storage, backup, recovery, and disaster recovery concepts.
• Experience with multi-country or multi-region infrastructure.
• Strong troubleshooting and root-cause analysis skills.
• ITIL change and incident management experience.
• Strong English communication with stakeholders.

Responsabilidades

• Lead day-to-day work of the systems and cloud engineering team across Sr./Jr. Engineers and Database Administrators.
• Provide hands-on senior engineering support for complex server, virtualization, storage, and cloud issues.
• Partner with Cloud/Infrastructure Architect to implement designs, standards, and capacity plans.
• Own server and database capacity management and scaling recommendations.
• Oversee patch management and vulnerability remediation with NOC and Security.
• Lead IAM, middleware, and cross-platform server operations coverage.
• Coordinate database administration oversight for performance, backups, and availability.
• Escalation point for major incidents; drive root-cause analysis and remediation.
• Support data center and cloud migration/consolidation projects with planning and execution.
• Mentor and develop staff and onboard to the client environment.
• Maintain documentation of architecture and ensure policy compliance.
