General Motors in Bogotá is seeking a qualified accounting professional to oversee the preparation and review of technical memos for complex transactions under US GAAP and IFRS. You will partner with Controllership, FP&A, Tax, Treasury and Legal to determine accounting treatments and ensure accurate financial reporting.

The role emphasizes cross-functional collaboration, data-driven analysis, and adherence to corporate policies while supporting SEC disclosures and global policy updates.

Qualificações

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting.
• At least two years of professional accounting experience.
• Proficient in IFRS and awareness of US GAAP.
• Experience with SAP and analytics tools.

Responsabilidades

• Oversee the preparation and review of technical accounting memos for complex, significant and non-standard transactions according with US GAAP and IFRS.
• Partner cross-functionally with Controllership, Finance and corporate business partners in analyzing transactions and determining accounting treatment.
• Prepare and review quarterly and annual financial reporting information submitted to the SEC reporting team for Form 10-Q and 10-K disclosures.
• Drive modernization of existing processes by collaborating with regional Controllership teams and ensuring compliance with corporate policies.
• Communicate technical accounting analysis to regional leaders and stakeholders.
