Auxis is seeking a Senior Accountant to lead and oversee daily accounting operations in Bogotá. You will ensure timely and accurate financial reporting while guiding junior staff and implementing robust accounting controls.

The role requires IFRS‑GAAP expertise, a Bachelor’s degree in accounting, and 5+ years of experience. Strong analytical and communication skills, plus proficiency in MS Office and major ERP systems, are essential.

Formación

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting with 5+ years of experience.
• CPA certification preferred.
• Strong knowledge of IFRS‑GAAP and other accounting principles.
• Demonstrated experience in managing accounting operations.
• Excellent analytical, problem‑solving, and communication skills.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office, including Excel and Word.
• Experience with Oracle, Netsuite or SAP is preferred.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Ability to prioritize tasks and work independently in a fast‑paced environment.

Responsabilidades

• Oversee the day‑to‑day operations of the Client’s accounting department, including managing the general ledger, accounts payable, accounts receivable, and payroll functions.
• Prepare and review financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements.
• Ensure IFRS‑GAAP compliance and stay updated on accounting regulations and trends.
• Develop and implement accounting policies, procedures, and controls.
• Collaborate with finance, tax, and audit to ensure accurate financial information.
• Provide guidance and mentoring to junior staff.
• Assist in budgets, forecasts, and financial analyses.
• Participate in special projects and other management initiatives.
• Review accounting documents for accuracy and correct entries when needed.
• Prepare and maintain subsidiary accounting records for various transactions.
• Plan, organize, and control accounting processes and adherence to policies.
