Clara Lending Co. is seeking a Tech Lead to steer ClarOps’ backend/frontend integration platform and own architectural direction across Clara’s AI-enabled stack.

You’ll lead a multidisciplinary team, set quality standards, review specs through a technical lens, and champion AI tooling to accelerate delivery while delivering high impact. This role offers hybrid work, stock options, and a clear path for growth.

Formación

• 7+ years of engineering experience with senior tech voice on a team.
• Strong backend foundation in Java and Spring Boot; able to use AI tools to accelerate work.
• Experience leading a multidisciplinary team; solid frontend and integration awareness.
• Deep understanding of microservices and event-driven systems using Kafka.
• Familiarity with cloud platforms, preferably AWS, and modern dev tooling.
• Technical product mindset; reads roadmaps and contributes proposals beyond estimates.
• English proficiency to lead technical discussions across geographies.
• High autonomy, proactivity, and ownership mindset; actively drives initiatives.
• Interest in AI; keeps up with AI tooling and applies it to improve workflows.

Responsabilidades

• Leading technical direction and architecture for high-impact internal systems and services
• Setting the quality standards the team works toward through code/design reviews
• Building the integration platform and surfaces for Clara and AI agents to connect
• Reviewing product specs from the technical lens and flagging feasibility gaps
• Running the team's execution rhythm: sprint planning, standups, retros
• Mentoring and pairing to elevate the team and share knowledge
• Driving cross-team problem-solving and architectural discussions
• Applying AI tools to ship faster and improve how the team works
