Clara, a leading LATAM fintech, is hiring a Senior Fullstack Engineer for its Onboarding team. You’ll own end-to-end onboarding features—KYB/KYC, document verification, identity validation, and account activation—across multiple countries.

The role leans backend but welcomes frontend expansion, with AI-driven automation shaping daily work. You’ll work in a fast-paced, autonomous environment where decisions matter, and collaboration with Product, Design, Risk and Compliance is key to delivering

Formación

• 5+ years of software engineering experience in production environments.
• Strong foundation in Java and the Spring ecosystem—Spring, Spring Boot, Spring Batch—for backend services; capable of frontend work (React).
• Comfortable architecting scalable, distributed systems and microservices for financial products.
• Solid data modeling instincts; hands-on with PostgreSQL and Redis for transactions and caching.
• Experience building and securing RESTful APIs and integrations with third-party providers; async/event-driven patterns (Kafka).
• Familiarity with cloud platforms, preferably AWS, and modern dev tooling.
• Mentoring engineers and raising quality through reviews, pairing, and knowledge sharing.
• English proficiency to lead technical discussions across geographies.
• High autonomy and ownership; AI-native approach to coding, debugging, automation.

Responsabilidades

• Designing and building backend services powering the onboarding engine: sign-up, KYB/KYC flows, document collection and verification, account activation.
• Contributing to the frontend with intuitive, responsive interfaces to reduce friction.
• Owning integrations with external providers—identity verification, document validation, business data sources—via clean internal APIs.
• Collaborating with Product, Design, Risk, and Compliance to translate regulatory requirements into product experiences.
• Applying AI tools to ship faster and improve team workflows.
• Elevating the team through code reviews, pairing, and knowledge sharing.
