Clara, a fast-growing Latin America fintech, seeks a Senior Fullstack Engineer for the onboarding team. You’ll own end‑to‑end features—from sign-up to activation—covering KYB/KYC, document verification, and identity validation across countries.

The role blends backend strength with frontend impact, and emphasizes AI‑driven automation. The ideal candidate has 5+ years in software engineering, strong Java/Spring skills, React capability, and experience with PostgreSQL, Redis, Kafka, and AWS.

Formación

• 5+ years of software engineering experience in production environments.
• Strong foundation in Java and the Spring ecosystem for backend services, with frontend interest in React.
• Experience building and securing RESTful APIs and integrating with third-party providers.
• Hands-on experience with PostgreSQL and Redis for transactional and caching needs.
• Familiarity with cloud platforms, preferably AWS, and modern dev tooling.
• Proven ability to work across geographies, mentoring engineers, and communicating in English.

Responsabilidades

• Designing and building backend services powering onboarding, KYB/KYC flows, verification orchestration, and activation.
• Contributing to frontend interfaces to reduce friction during high-stakes customer moments.
• Owning integrations with external providers and abstracting complexity behind robust internal APIs.
• Collaborating with Product, Design, Risk, and Compliance to translate requirements into great experiences.
• Applying AI tools to accelerate development and improve team workflows.
• Leading code reviews, pairing, and knowledge sharing to elevate the team.
