Clara Lending Co. is seeking a Senior Backend Engineer to lead the backend initiatives powering the Clara ecosystem. You will own architectural direction, ensure scalable performance, and collaborate cross-functionally to enable fast, AI-enhanced product development across the Americas.

You bring 5+ years in backend development with Java/Spring Boot, strong microservices and Kafka experience, and comfort with AWS. The role offers hybrid work and a fast-paced, ownership-driven environment.

Formación

• 5+ years of backend development experience.
• Strong foundation in Java and Spring Boot.
• Solid understanding of microservices architecture with Kafka.
• Experience with cloud platforms, preferably AWS.
• English proficiency for cross-geography discussions.
• High autonomy and ownership mindset.
• Interest in applying AI tools to workflows.

Responsabilidades

• Lead backend design and implementation for high-impact internal systems.
• Build the integration platform to connect Clara ecosystems and AI tools.
• Collaborate across the full product lifecycle from ideation to deployment.
• Elevate the team through code reviews and mentoring.
• Maintain and evolve microservices within a modern architecture.
• Drive cross-team architectural discussions and decisions.
• Apply AI tools to accelerate delivery and improve processes.
