Siemens Energy is seeking a senior engineering leader to drive day‑to‑day operations for the Grid Automation team focused on High Voltage substation automation. You will guide capabilities, standards, and delivery while coaching engineers and supporting hiring decisions.

The role emphasizes people leadership over hands‑on coding, with engagement across Customers, Project Managers, and discipline leads to ensure consistent, high‑quality outcomes and digitalisation initiatives within the domain.

Formación

• Senior leadership experience coaching engineers and managing priorities.
• Strong cross-functional communication with Customers, PMs and discipline leads.
• Experience in HV substation automation systems and SAS architectures.
• Ability to evaluate and adopt new tools/methods for efficiency.

Responsabilidades

• Lead day‑to‑day operations for the team and allocate work.
• Own domain capability, standards and continuous improvement.
• Coach engineers’ development and support hiring decisions.
• Act as senior point of contact in project and customer discussions.
