GE-Vernova- is seeking a Lead Engineer to act as the technical authority for HV substation projects, overseeing planning, budget, and delivery while coordinating internal teams, suppliers, and subcontractors. You will champion optimized, customer-centric engineering solutions that meet stringent project standards and align with the overall master schedule.

The role requires a Bachelor’s degree in Electrical/Electronic or Automation & Control Engineering, 10+ years in engineering coordination

Formación

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical, Electronic or Automation & Control Engineering required.
• Minimum 10 years of experience in engineering activities as technical coordinator in EPC environments.
• Proven experience in Latin American energy markets with knowledge of local standards (IEC, IEEE, ANSI).
• Fluent Spanish and advanced English are required.
• Knowledge of high voltage substations, protection & control, and related engineering disciplines.
• Willingness to travel domestically and internationally.

Responsabilidades

• Lead end-to-end technical coordination of HV substation projects, interfacing with internal teams, clients, sites, partners and subcontractors.
• Ensure alignment across disciplines (Primary/Secondary equipment, P&C, Telecom, Civil Works, Commissioning).
• Define scope boundaries and responsibilities to prevent gaps and overlaps.
• Support sales in defining technical solution strategies and quantities.
• Ensure designs comply with customer specs and international standards (IEC, ANSI, IEEE).
• Validate project changes, deliverables, and supplier proposals.
• Manage the engineering master schedule and KPI tracking.
• Provide site-level technical support and perform critical engineering calculations.
