Solitemp S.A. seeks a Lead Engineer to oversee HV substation projects, coordinating design, safety, quality and cost control across internal teams and subcontractors. You will validate technical deliverables, manage schedules, and advise on technically complex field issues in Latin America with travel as needed.

The role requires a strong background in high voltage engineering, experience with international standards, and fluent Spanish with advanced English, supporting multi-disciplinary teams.

Formación

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical, Electronic or Automation & Control Engineering.
• Minimum 10 years in EPC-type engineering/coordinator roles in transmission & distribution or related sectors.
• Experience in Venezuelan energy sector with local regulatory standards (e.g., COVENIN).
• Fluent Spanish and advanced English.

Responsabilidades

• Lead end-to-end technical coordination of HV substation projects with internal teams, clients, and subcontractors.
• Ensure designs comply with IEC, IEEE, ANSI standards and client specs.
• Manage engineering master schedule integrated with procurement, construction, and commissioning milestones.
• Provide high-level technical support on site, including field surveys and critical calculations (grounding, cable sizing).
• Oversee documentation, change validation, and responses to TQs and exceptions.
