Job summary

Olly Olly is seeking a Staff Software Engineer to join our team and lead the AI-powered app for small business owners. You will design, test, and implement features across web and mobile platforms, reporting to an Engineering Manager and partnering with Product.

You will guide technical leadership, architecture, and code quality as you scale our tools for lead management, reviews, listings, ads reporting, and AI-generated content.

Qualifications

• 7+ years building production software.
• A product or major feature launched from 0 to 1 and owned after launch.
• Ability to learn new languages, frameworks and domains as needed.
• In-depth experience with TypeScript and SQL/Postgres in production.
• Experience using AI coding agents on production work and owning output quality.

Responsibilities

• Partner with Engineering Manager and Product to scope projects.
• Own architecture of AI content pipeline and cost/latency balance.
• Build automated QA for AI-generated content to catch hallucinations.
• Develop, design, and maintain scalable web and mobile apps and RESTful APIs.
• Write clean, well-documented code with security in mind.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deploy applications.
• Troubleshoot and debug, identify bottlenecks, improve efficiency.
• Stay current with trends in software development and AI.
