Job summary

Amplemarket is seeking an experienced Tech Lead aiming to grow into an Engineering Manager role. You will directly partner with the co-founders to shape technical direction and own greenfield AI-driven initiatives, while remaining hands-on a majority of the time to maintain code quality and system stability.

The role focuses on building scalable infrastructure, mentoring engineers, and coordinating across product and engineering to deliver high-impact features leveraging LLMs and modern AI tech.

Qualifications

• Proven experience leading engineering teams and delivering software at scale.
• Experience shipping AI/LLM projects and integrating NLP models into products.
• Strong hands-on coding, debugging, and system optimization skills.

Responsibilities

• Work directly with the co-founders on priorities, execution, and technical direction.
• Lead greenfield projects powered by LLMs and AI technologies.
• Plan and run engineering sprints to ensure predictable, high-quality delivery.
• Provide technical mentorship and leadership to engineers on the team.
• Recruit and build a strong engineering team, owning the hiring process end to end.
• Stay hands-on when needed—coding, reviewing, and debugging complex issues.
