Job summary

Allied Steel Buildings, Inc. in Bucaramanga, Colombia, seeks an experienced Staff Accountant to join the corporate accounting and finance team. On-site role collaborating remotely with US-based teams, supporting US GAAP, AP/AR, and general ledger.

You will manage daily transactions, month-end close, intercompany balances, and project billing, while ensuring accuracy and timely reporting. Fluency in English and Colombian accounting background preferred, with 2–3 years' experience and ERP/Power BI

Qualifications

• Colombian university degree required.
• 2–3 years accounting experience with US-based companies preferred.
• Solid knowledge of US GAAP and full accounting cycle.

Responsibilities

• Record and post daily financial transactions to the general ledger.
• Prepare journal entries, accruals, prepaids, and deferrals.
• Perform balance sheet reconciliations and maintain schedules.
• Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable cycles.
• Coordinate intercompany transactions and project billing.
• Support month-end and year-end close and audit readiness.
• Ensure compliance with US GAAP and internal controls.
