Shareholder Services in Medellín, Colombia, seeks a Senior Staff Accountant to ensure accuracy and integrity across U.S.-based entities while supporting a fast-paced family office environment. This on-site role requires strong GAAP knowledge, multi-entity experience, and advanced English skills.

Responsibilities include journal entries, reconciliations, month-end close, AP/AR, audits, and leveraging AI tools to boost efficiency.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
• 3+ years of progressive accounting experience with general ledger and reconciliations
• Experience in multi-entity or high-volume environments (preferred)
• Prior experience with US-based or multinational companies
• Strong knowledge of NetSuite and/or QuickBooks
• Advanced Excel and solid GAAP knowledge
• Advanced English proficiency (written and verbal)

Responsabilités

• Own account reconciliations and resolve discrepancies in a timely manner
• Support month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close for assigned entities
• Manage AP/AR transactions, cash reconciliations, and payroll validation
• Prepare schedules and documentation for internal and external audits
• Leverage AI-enabled tools to improve speed and accuracy in accounting processes
• Partner cross-functionally with Finance, Payroll, and Operations
