Job summary

ICBD seeks a Senior Staff Accountant to ensure accuracy across its U.S.-based entities while supporting a fast-paced, multi-entity family office in Medellín. You will prepare and review journal entries, manage reconciliations, and support close processes, partnering with Finance, Payroll, and Operations.

Ideal candidates have a Bachelor's in Accounting/Finance, 3+ years of GL experience, and strong GAAP mastery, plus Advanced Excel and English proficiency.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• 3+ years of progressive accounting experience with general ledger and reconciliations.
• Experience in multi-entity or high-volume environments.
• Prior experience with US-based or multinational companies.
• Strong knowledge of NetSuite and/or QuickBooks.
• Advanced Excel and solid GAAP knowledge.
• Advanced English proficiency (written and verbal).

Responsibilities

• Own account reconciliations and resolve discrepancies in a timely manner.
• Support month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close for assigned entities.
• Manage AP/AR transactions, cash reconciliations, and payroll validation.

• Leverage AI-enabled tools to improve speed and accuracy in accounting processes.
• Partner cross-functionally with Finance, Payroll, and Operations.
