Job summary

Genpact is seeking an AP Specialist to handle invoice processing, payment approvals and AP record maintenance in a dynamic, hybrid Bogotá office. You will verify vendor data, process PO and non-PO invoices, and identify improvements to AP workflows.

The role emphasizes accuracy in financial data, reconciliation tasks, and potential automation initiatives within a global AI-driven finance environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor-level or higher in accounting, commerce, economics or finance.
• Professional certifications in accounting/finance are highly valued (CPA/CFA/CTP).
• Experience with accounts payable processes and automation is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Calculate, post business transactions and process invoices for AP records.
• Process PO and non-PO invoices and verify payment approvals.
• Perform vendor reconciliations and manage AP cycle, including GRIR.

Get to know us at genpact.com and on LinkedIn, YouTube, X, and Facebook.Job Description• Calculating, posting business transactions, processing invoices, verifying financial data for use in maintaining accounts payable records • Process invoices with PO / Non-PO • Review invoices and requisitions for satisfactory payment approval • Ensure quality of AP processes, handling of all not compliant and not standard processes within the country • Verify and calculate all extensions and totals on invoices (calculating and taking discounts when applicable) • Check vendor files for any previous payments and assign voucher numbers.
