Cognizant is seeking a ServiceNow QA Analyst to ensure the quality, reliability, and performance of ServiceNow solutions throughout the software development lifecycle. You will work with developers, analysts, stakeholders, and clients to deliver high-quality digital solutions in a flexible work model.

Responsibilities include creating test plans and scripts, identifying defects, and validating interfaces and integrations.

Formación

• Bachelor's degree in software engineering, computer science, information technology, mathematics, engineering, or a related field.
• Experience in software quality assurance and testing methodologies.
• Experience creating and executing test cases, test plans, and defect management processes.
• Understanding of Agile development methodologies and sprint-based delivery environments.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with excellent attention to detail.
• Effective written and verbal communication skills.

ServiceNow QA Analyst

About the role

As a ServiceNow QA Analyst , you will make an impact by ensuring the quality, reliability, and performance of ServiceNow solutions throughout the software development lifecycle. You will be a valued member of the Quality Assurance team and work collaboratively with developers, business analysts, project stakeholders, and clients to deliver high-quality digital solutions.

In this role, you will:

• Create and execute test plans, test cases, and test scripts to validate functional and non-functional requirements.
• Identify, document, and track defects while ensuring timely resolution and clear communication with project teams.
• Review requirements and system specifications to ensure complete test coverage and alignment with client expectations.
• Validate user interfaces, workflows, and integrations to ensure consistency, usability, and functionality.
• Apply Agile testing practices and contribute to continuous improvements in quality assurance processes.

Work model

What you need to have to be considered

• Bachelor's degree in Software Engineering, Computer Science, Information Technology, Mathematics, Engineering, or a related field.
• Experience in software quality assurance and testing methodologies.
• Experience creating and executing test cases, test plans, and defect management processes.
• Understanding of Agile development methodologies and sprint-based delivery environments.

• Effective written and verbal communication skills.

QA Analyst

• 2 to 6 years of experience in software quality assurance or testing.
• Proven ability to work independently across multiple projects or complex engagements.
• Experience identifying testing risks and driving quality initiatives proactively.

These will help you stand out

• Experience testing ServiceNow applications and workflows.
• ServiceNow Certified System Administrator (CSA) certification.
• ITIL Foundation certification.
• Scrum or Agile-related certifications.
• Experience with test automation tools and frameworks.
• Experience testing web and mobile applications.
