Cognizant seeks a Sr ServiceNow Technical Consultant in Colombia to design, develop, and implement scalable ServiceNow solutions that optimize business processes and digital workflows with cross-functional teams.

You will mentor developers, drive architecture decisions, and collaborate with clients to ensure successful project delivery; remote, hybrid, or onsite in Bogota, Colombia.

Formación

• 8+ years of hands-on experience developing and configuring solutions on the ServiceNow platform.
• Experience implementing ServiceNow ITSM and at least two additional ServiceNow product lines.
• Strong development experience with JavaScript, HTML, CSS, integrations, and web technologies.
• Advanced English communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.

About the role

As a Sr ServiceNow Technical Consultant you will make an impact by designing, developing, and implementing scalable ServiceNow solutions that help clients optimize their business processes and digital workflows. You will be a valued member of the ServiceNow practice and work collaboratively with project managers, architects, developers, and client stakeholders to deliver high-quality outcomes.

In this role, you will:

• Design, develop, and implement ServiceNow solutions following platform best practices and client requirements.
• Translate business requirements, user stories, and technical specifications into scalable and maintainable solutions.
• Lead technical design discussions, solution architecture decisions, and integration activities across ServiceNow modules.
• Provide mentorship and technical guidance to developers while promoting development standards and code quality.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams and client stakeholders to ensure successful project delivery and continuous improvement.

Work model

What you need to have to be considered

• ServiceNow Certified System Administrator (CSA).
• ServiceNow Certified Implementation Specialist - ITSM (CIS-ITSM).
• 8+ years of hands-on experience developing and configuring solutions on the ServiceNow platform.
• Experience implementing ServiceNow ITSM and at least two additional ServiceNow product lines.
• Strong development experience with JavaScript, HTML, CSS, integrations, and web technologies.
• Experience working in Agile delivery environments and across the software development lifecycle.
• Ability to create technical designs, architecture documentation, and effort estimations.
• Advanced English communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.

• Additional ServiceNow certifications across ServiceNow product suites.
• ITIL Foundation certification or Service Management knowledge.
• Experience serving as a technical lead on enterprise ServiceNow implementations.
• Strong troubleshooting, code review, and performance optimization skills.
• Experience mentoring technical teams and supporting capability development.
• Postgraduate studies related to software engineering, technology, or digital transformation.
