Job summary

Félix is hiring a senior product manager to own the cross-border remittance platform that underpins our multi-product financial platform for Latino communities in the US. You will shape the orchestration layer, define contracts across teams, and drive platform reliability and observability.

You will work remotely from international locations, collaborating with engineering, compliance, and operations to ensure scalable, secure, and user-friendly transaction flows and future product expansions.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in product management with at least 3 years owning a platform, infrastructure, API, or backend product whose primary customers were other engineering teams.
• Strong grounding in distributed-systems concepts: asynchronous processing, eventual consistency, at-least-once delivery, idempotency, and long-running workflow failure modes.
• Payments/remittance, banking, ledger or transaction-processing experience.
• Exceptional written communication; specs and contracts as reference.
• Direct comfort with data: querying, dashboards, anomaly investigation.
• Track record of saying No to powerful internal stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Define platform scope and primitives vs. consuming products.
• Own sequencing and migration approach for new products on the platform.
• Define contracts, workflow interfaces, idempotency, retry and compensation semantics, timeouts, state visibility, SLAs; build docs, onboarding and observability tooling.
• Lead platform engineering roadmap and balance remittance reliability with platform investments.
• Represent the platform to operations, compliance and finance; collaborate with architecture decisions.
