The Nuclear Company in the United States is seeking an Interconnection Specialist to lead complex power-system studies and manage interconnection processes for nuclear projects. You will act as the technical authority across multidisciplinary teams to ensure reliable grid integration and regulatory compliance.

Responsibilities include load flow, short-circuit, transient and small-signal analyses, coordinating with clients, utilities, and subcontractors, and leading ISO/RTO/NERC-compliant

Formación

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in electrical engineering with focus on power systems preferred.
• 5+ years of experience in power system planning, interconnection, or generator integration—energy or utility contexts.
• Proficiency with industry-standard tools: PSS/E, PSLF, ETAP, PSCAD, PowerWorld, Aspen One-Liner, TARA, etc.

Responsabilidades

• Develop and deliver load flow, short-circuit, transient and small-signal stability, electromagnetic transient, reliability, and system impact assessments.
• Manage end-to-end interconnection for large generator projects with internal teams, clients, utilities, and subcontractors.
• Lead electrical design development, modeling packages, and technical drawings.
