SB Energy is seeking a senior power systems engineer to develop and validate dynamic models for hyperscale data center power architectures, integrating on-site generation, microgrids, and battery energy storage. You will run EMT studies, perform grid interconnection analyses, and automate simulations with Python to support utility and ISO compliance.

• Experience developing and validating PSCAD/EMTDC models.
• Experience performing grid-interconnection studies with North American utilities.
• Ability to automate simulations using Python.
• Strong background in power-system analysis and OEM model validation.

Responsabilidades

• Develop and maintain in-house power system models for data center power systems including on-site generation, microgrids, and hybrids.
• Lead EMT modeling and transient studies using PSCAD/EMT tools.
• Perform power system studies using PSCAD, PowerWorld, PSS/E, DIgSILENT PowerFactory, ETAP.
• Review vendor models and support commissioning and field validation.
• Develop technical reports and compliance packages for utility and ISO requirements.
• Support testing of BESS, UPS systems, and hybrid energy storage solutions via simulation and field validation.
