The Nuclear Company in the United States is seeking a Civil Structural Engineer to lead design, analysis, and construction oversight of nuclear power plant structures. You will prepare detailed structural calculations, review designs for constructability, and provide hands-on engineering support for concrete and steel systems, applying ACI, AISC, and ASME codes.

• BS degree in Civil or Structural Engineering from ABET-accredited university.
• 8+ years of structural engineering experience, preferably in nuclear or heavy industrial projects.
• Proficiency in structural analysis software and CAD/ED modeling tools.

Responsabilidades

• Perform structural analysis for steel and concrete, including seismic analysis and anchoring systems.
• Coordinate with field crews, design engineers, QA, and subcontractors.
• Review designs for constructability and provide field engineering support.
• Prepare drawings, specifications, and calculation notes.
• Ensure compliance with nuclear safety regulations and standards.
• Conduct site walkdowns to verify installations.
• Review others' engineering work for accuracy and adherence to standards.
• Justify design changes with technical data and simulations.
• Originate and validate engineering deliverables.
