The Nuclear Company is seeking a Staff Mechanical Engineer to lead design, analysis, and ongoing maintenance of complex mechanical systems for nuclear power plants and advanced reactor projects. You will collaborate with a multidisciplinary team, applying ASME/ANSI standards and AI-enhanced simulation tools to ensure safety, reliability, and performance.
The role requires a BS in Mechanical Engineering, EIT license (PE a plus), and 8+ years of engineering experience with CAD/analysis software.
Formación
- B.S. Mechanical Engineering from ABET-accredited university is required.
- Engineering in Training (EIT) license is required; Professional Engineer license is a plus.
- 8+ years of engineering experience with strong fundamentals in mechanical engineering.
Responsabilidades
- Design and analyze mechanical components and systems for nuclear power plants or advanced reactor projects.
- Prepare calculations, drawings and specifications; review modification packages.
- Provide technical guidance to junior staff and support root-cause analyses.
