MAS Global Consulting is seeking a Senior Platform Engineer to own and govern a Snowflake-based data platform. You will lead RBAC redesign, data masking, and governance, while operating provisioning, access control, and service lifecycle in a fast-moving, AI-enabled engineering culture.

You will collaborate with analysts and engineers to support analytics and AI workloads, and contribute to self-service automation and robust documentation to hand off work after engagement ends.

Formación

• 5+ years of experience in data platform, platform engineering, or data engineering roles.
• Solid, hands-on Snowflake experience (required), including RBAC, data masking/governance, and compute management.
• Experience operating production platforms with elevated privileges, with good judgment about the impact of changes.
• Working knowledge of SQL and Python (AI-assisted coding is part of the team's workflow).
• Experience with triage, incident response, and working from runbooks someone else wrote.
• Advanced English (B2/C1) is mandatory, with strong verbal and written communication skills.

Responsabilidades

• Contribute to foundational Snowflake work, including the redesign of the RBAC framework and the rollout of data governance.
• Operate and extend existing platform capabilities (provisioning, access control, and service lifecycle).
• Handle business-hours triage: data replication issues, permission requests via Terraform, and troubleshoot procedures using runbooks.
• Maintain and improve self-service automation for access provisioning, pipeline failure handling, and platform health.
• Support analytics, ML, and AI workloads that run on the platform, collaborating with analysts and teams.
• Write clear documentation and async updates so work hands back to the full team smoothly.
