Zimmer Biomet is seeking a Data Engineer - Snowflake Administrator to securely administer the Snowflake platform and related data-platform services. This role focuses on setup, access management, security configuration, governance, and documentation.
The ideal candidate will have expert Python and SQL skills, strong GitHub practices, and experience administering Snowflake environments with disciplined governance. Collaboration with security, privacy, and audit teams is essential.
Formación
- Bachelor's degree in a related technical field.
- 5+ years of data-platform or cloud data engineering experience.
- Hands-on Snowflake administration and governance setup.
- Strong Python and SQL for automation and controls.
- Experience with GitHub and IaC (Pulumi).
- Familiarity with Dagster and integrations like Power BI.
Responsabilidades
- Administer Snowflake accounts, databases, schemas, and access.
- Manage user and role permissions with approved processes.
- Implement Snowflake security and governance features.
- Automate tasks using SQL and Python.
- Provide documentation and runbooks, governance evidence.
- Support Dagster and related orchestration services.
- Collaborate with data engineering for pipeline readiness.
- Monitor platform health and respond to incidents.
