MPS Group LLC is seeking a Senior Data Engineer to design and sustain modern data platforms on Snowflake and GCP. You will own data migration, data integration, and data product enablement, enabling scalable, governed, and well-documented data ecosystems. Strong modeling, metadata management, and IaC experience are highly valued.

The role emphasizes collaboration with architects, analysts, and business stakeholders, plus producing comprehensive data product documentation and deployment artifacts.

Formación

• 5+ years of experience in Data Engineering or related data platform roles.
• Strong hands-on experience with Snowflake in production environments.
• Experience building data solutions on Google Cloud Platform (BigQuery, Cloud Storage, Dataflow, Composer).
• Proven data migration or modernization projects involving Snowflake and cloud platforms.
• Knowledge of dimensional modeling, data warehousing, and best practices.
• Experience with metadata management, data cataloging, and governance concepts.
• Proficiency in SQL and Python.
• Experience documenting data products and runbooks; YAML configurations encouraged.
• Hands-on Terraform and Infrastructure as Code practices are valued.

Responsabilidades

• Design scalable data pipelines and ingestion frameworks using Snowflake and GCP.
• Lead data migration initiatives between enterprise data platforms.
• Build and optimize data models to support analytics and reporting.
• Develop metadata-driven solutions ensuring data assets are governed and reusable.
• Create and maintain YAML configurations, metadata definitions, and deployment artifacts.
• Collaborate with architects, analysts, and stakeholders to translate requirements.
• Produce high-quality technical documentation for data products and processes.
• Support CI/CD and IaC practices where applicable.
