Job summary

Entrepreneur Cooperative is seeking a highly experienced paralegal or attorney for Minnesota workers' compensation cases. This fully remote, independent contractor role supports litigating attorneys with case preparation, research, and limited appearances, aligned to U.S.

Central/ Eastern hours. Ideal candidates have deep Minnesota workers' compensation experience, can manage a full caseload, and communicate effectively in English.

Qualifications

• Significant, hands-on experience with Minnesota workers' compensation or closely related injury and insurance litigation.
• Comfortable independently managing a full caseload: legal research, medical record review, case preparation, and appearances.
• Strong written and spoken English.

Responsibilities

• Prepare case files for the litigating attorney from start to finish, including legal research specific to Minnesota workers' compensation and injury law.
• Review medical records and cross-reference them against the client's account of the injury to build a complete, accurate picture of the case.
• Ensure every case meets the proper medical-legal standards required to win in front of a judge or in settlement.
• Make appearances on behalf of the attorney as needed throughout the case lifecycle.
• Work under the direct supervision of, and in close coordination with, Attorney Mark Rodgers and Attorney Jim Perkett.
