BairesDev is seeking a Senior Engineer (Monitoring) to lead the design and implementation of large-scale observability systems, ensuring the reliability of distributed environments. You will transform raw telemetry into actionable operational intelligence to keep services performant.

This role is 100% remote with flexible hours, offers competitive compensation in USD or your local currency, and provides hardware and software setup to support a productive work-from-home experience.

Formación

• 4+ years of experience in Observability, Monitoring, or Site Reliability Engineering.
• Experience building and scaling observability infrastructure.
• Proficiency with Prometheus, Grafana, and log pipelines.
• Hands-on with ELK, OpenSearch, or Vector.
• Strong understanding of OpenTelemetry.
• Advanced proficiency in English.

Responsabilidades

• Architect and manage enterprise-grade observability platforms for metrics, logs, and traces.
• Standardize telemetry data collection and instrumentation using OpenTelemetry and modern log pipelines.
• Design sophisticated monitoring dashboards and visualization strategies to provide deep system visibility.
• Partner with engineering teams to define robust alerting frameworks and Service Level Objectives (SLOs).
• Drive the adoption of advanced observability practices to accelerate incident detection and root cause analysis.
• Optimize the performance and cost-efficiency of observability tools across hybrid cloud environments.
