Job summary

Cencora Bogotá-based Accountant III will serve as the primary right-hand resource to the Regional Controller for the North America region. The role combines strategic accounting leadership with hands-on execution across AP, AR, and close processes, ensuring accuracy under US GAAP and SOX.

The position requires strong English, Excel expertise, and collaboration with centralized shared services and cross-border teams.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• 6+ years of directly related accounting experience; 4+ years in close, accounting, or controllership activities is required.
• Excellent English proficiency and experience supporting US-based or multinational operations.

Responsibilities

• Own and manage intercompany accounting processes across North America entities.
• Lead the monthly, quarterly, and annual US financial close, including journal entries, accruals, and adjustments.
• Prepare and review financial reporting packages and variance analyses for the NA region.
